Gore Tech & Bong-Ra vs Author & Punisher – Sonic Terror Records

Coming at your ears like a nail bomb, the latest release from breakcore legend End.user’s Sonic Terror label packs one hell of a punch. Featuring a stunning array of talent in the form of Breakcore pioneer and John Peel favourite – Bong-Ra, the up-and-coming mighty talent Gore Tech and Industrial badman Author & Punisher – renowned worldwide for his incredible live shows.

Its description as “breakgrindjunglehardcore” is pretty accurate, with the release covering every gritty corner of these genres, and delivering a thoroughly bleak array of different steppy drum patterns that move between half-time and full carnage. Author & Punisher’s work has been cut to shards and precisely rebuilt, mangled and reformed into tracks that manage to carry through the voices of each artist with clarity. Author & Punisher’s grimy basslines work perfectly paired with both Bong-Ra’s frenetic metal fuelled percussion, and in a particularly sick way with Gore Tech’s tight and aggressive form of DnB.

The Return of Sonic Terror

From the ashes of the 2000s rises the iconic Sonic Terror recordings, a notable zenith in the world of Industrial and breakcore during the last 20 years. At the helm of this operation is Lynn Standafer of Enduser, Blood of heroes and Iamthesun.

Returning in 2014 with label mate NLIC operating out of New Orleans in the deep south of USA, with their first release in over a 5 years.

Presenting, Gore Tech & Bong Ra Vs Author & Punisher, released as a 4 track 12″ vinyl, this material takes Gore Tech and Bong Ra into shredding and rebuilding the work of master American indsutrial machine tamer Tristan Stone (Author and Punisher). Creating a titanic battle of neo-industrial Doom,  Breakcore and Drum and Bass into interesting realms of subsonic tube amp fusions.
