Ruby My Dear is a producer, songwriter and live performer whose music fuses melodic electronica, IDM and jungle into a highly inventive, musical brand of breakcore. His tracks weave dream-like atmospheres and haunting melodies around sharp, complex rhythms, taking listeners on a constantly evolving journey through his unique sonic universe.
Ruby My Dear started in 2010 with his remix of DJ Shadow’s Building Steam with a Grain of Salt, released on his own label, Reconstruction Productions. Over the years he has released multiple EPs and full-length albums across respected underground labels such as Peace Off, Acroplane and Ad Noiseam, with later works including A Dada (2022) and the Smooth Working EP (2024). In 2025 he delivered a new album, Confiture à la Plage, alongside other recent EPs like Basic, further expanding his sonic range with both vibrant and introspective material.
Live performance is a significant part of Ruby’s practice. On stage he reworks his intricate productions with fluency and presence, creating immersive sets that balance meticulous detail with his unique brand of French energy.
Notable appearances include Berghain, Glastonbury, Bang Face, Maschinenfest, Fusion Festival and club events throughout Europe. He continues to evolve as both a composer and performer, bringing fresh perspectives to his sound with every release and show..
