ARS DADA

Ars Dada operates at the intersection of dark drum & bass and breakcore, drawing equally from metal intensity and classical composition. Based in Norway, his work carries a stark, brooding atmosphere — austere textures, industrial weight and carefully structured tension that feels shaped by long winters and wide, isolated landscapes.

Rather than leaning purely into speed or abrasion, Ars Dada builds tracks with a compositional sensibility. Rhythms are forceful but deliberate, melodies often restrained, sometimes mournful, and the overall architecture carries a sense of narrative progression. The result is music that feels both aggressive and controlled.

Since his first releases in 2009, he has built a catalogue spanning several respected underground imprints, including Peace Off, Sonic Terror, Murder Channel, Concrete Collage and Cock Rock Disco. These affiliations firmly positioned him within the harder European breakcore circuit while allowing his darker, more cinematic tendencies to develop over time.

As a live performer, Ars Dada brings that same intensity into the room. Sets are immersive and physically charged without feeling chaotic, balancing impact with atmosphere. Performances across Europe, Russia and the United States have reinforced a reputation for controlled force — music that is heavy, but never careless. Ars Dada’s output remains rooted in tension and texture: stark, industrial and unmistakably shaped by his northern surroundings.
