FFINN first drew our attention through their work as a DJ and co-director of Bristol’s now-defunct Slug Wife label, demonstrating a discerning musical ear with a deft ability to blend styles seamlessly. Witnessing them effortlessly reading and moving rooms to their will, especially at their standout opening set going b2b with Scheme Boy for Broken Note’s Exit the Void album launch, cemented their place in the Varispeed family.
Drawing from a wide spectrum of bass, electronica and syncopated rhythms, FFINN brings their contagiously bright energy into every set, creating memorable moments for all that had crossed their dance floor. Since 2012, they have performed across the UK and Asia, sharing stages with acts such as Ben Pest, Itoa, Monuman, The DJ Producer and Samurai Breaks.
