Enduser is the long-running project of American producer Lynn Standafer — a pivotal figure in the evolution of industrial-strength drum & bass and breakcore over the past two decades. Since his early appearance on Sonicterror’s debut 7″ in the early 2000s, he has built a substantial catalogue of full-length albums, EPs and remixes that cut across metal, hip-hop, industrial and hardcore electronics.
Raised on hip-hop and early jungle, with formative influences ranging from KRS-One to Skinny Puppy and Photek, Enduser’s sound fuses militant break programming with weighty atmospherics and hip-hop sensibility. His productions are forceful but structured, balancing aggression with compositional awareness. Over time, his work has expanded to incorporate doom, industrial and noise textures without abandoning its rhythmic core.
Releases have appeared on respected underground labels including Hymen Records, Sublight Records, Mirex, Ad Noiseam and Ohm Resistance, alongside output via his own imprint, Sonicterror Recordings. His work has intersected with artists such as The Bug, Panacea, Bill Laswell and Justin Broadrick, and through the collaborative project Blood of Heroes has further explored the meeting point between industrial, metal and experimental electronics.
More recent work continues to blur those lines, incorporating darker textures and a broadened compositional scope while retaining the rhythmic intensity that defines his catalogue. On stage, Enduser delivers rapid-fire break edits, dense low-end pressure and tightly controlled dynamics — performances that reflect a producer deeply embedded in the culture that shaped him.
